For the Australian immigration process, we supply the best employment reference letter sample. Candidates who do not have an ICT qualification must submit an RPL project report and an employment reference letter to the Australian Computer Society (ACS). ACS assesses applicants’ abilities based on their knowledge, skills, and job experience. As a result, candidates without an ICT degree can demonstrate their ability and receive a positive ACS Skills Assessment score.

Employee reference code Australia

Candidates with non-ICT degrees or insufficient ICT qualifications must submit an RPL project report and an employment reference letter to the Australian Computer Society (ACS) to demonstrate their capabilities and be positively assessed in the ACS Skills Assessment. It acts as evidence of the candidate’s job experience and knowledge in the field of employment. It contains a thorough work history of at least seven years in the nominated occupation that qualifies the ACS RPL. The following factors determine RPL:

Work in Australia or abroad, whether paid or unpaid On-the-job training, other Australian or international qualifications, Hobbies, sports, and leisure activities are examples of community or volunteer work.

Employment reference letter

To be surveyed as eligible for migration skills evaluation, work experience must be at an expert ICT level and applicable to the selected occupation. The following are the guidelines for writing a job reference letter:

  • Dates in the format DD/MM/YY
  • Position in the designated field of work
  • During the job, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks.
  • If applicable, you should note previous roles and responsibilities.
  • Working hours — full-time/part-time, as well as real weekly hours, worked.
  • Indicate the country where you did the job.
  • The approved individual has signed the organization’s letterhead (digital signatures acceptable and must be verifiable)

Your employment letter should consist of:

  1. One of the most significant aspects related to the legitimacy of the “Employment reference letter” is the employer’s signature. The signature of the employment authority or the employer certifies that the information in the letter is correct. In the reference letter, make sure to include the signing authority’s name, contact information, reference, and designation. If you misspell any of the qualities, it may cancel your employment reference letter.
  2. Sign and date your reference letter. Any of the authorized notaries can perform the certification. Because it will use the certified copy of your employer reference letter to assess your ACS skill, your RPL will be deemed ineligible for immigration if you do not have certification.
  3. The best policy is, to be honest! Try to stay away from any form of deception. Don’t use any other sites to get your work experience and relevant characteristics. In your reference letter, mention your genuine work skill and performance level, as well as your level of experience.
  4. Once more, pay attention! It’s crucial to include the name of the country where you gained professional experience. As a result, make sure to mention it in your reference letter. If you work for a single company in more than one country, make sure to list all of them in your letter (together with dates).
  5. To be a skilled employee, it is critical to have a basic level of experience. Work experience before obtaining the minimum specified level of experience will not be regarded as sufficient, which will harm your RPL. Because of the gap in experience, your RPL will be deemed unsuitable for migration.
  6. Before moving on to a skill evaluation, you should obtain an appropriate level of work experience. ACS has indicated the minimal work experience requirement, which is critical to fulfilling the requisite skill level. The date on which the minimum level of expertise is attained will be recognized as the starting point for skilled employee migration.
  7. Along with your suggestion of the job role, try to discuss your talents and professional performances more clearly. The purpose of the reference letter is to demonstrate your professional competence during the evaluation procedure. As a result, strive to concentrate more on your strong points and efficient domain.
  8. One thing to keep in mind is that if you work alongside your qualification, the ANZSCO authorities will not recognize that experience as “skilled employment.” In your RPL, this experience will be categorized as “Concurrent Employment.”
  9. To receive a better response, try to include as many job duties as feasible in the reference letter. The assignment, however, must be linked to your designated job description. That has been established as a standard. In your letter, 65 percent of the job assignment description should be related to your nominated job role, and please attempt to include a clear description of them. As per ANZSCO’s standardization, I’m mentioning this here. In the other situation, your RPL will be deemed ineligible for immigration purposes.
  10. In preparing a reference, the format for writing the date has been defined as DD/MM/YY to indicate your professional experience in the reference letter; you must include your starting and ending dates. If you are currently employed, please put “to date” if your employment ends. It means that the date you write the reference letter is the most recent date on which you have worked.
  11. Should have professional ICT experience that is related to the specified job description (ANZSCO)
  12. Every reference must offer specific information about your performance and the talents demonstrated. Your employer will have to approve this information. Keep in mind that your RPL will not be adequate for immigration if you do not provide adequate information about your ability and performance level in your professional field.
  13. While gaining experience for immigration, be mindful about the hours you work. The immigration authority has also addressed the problem of full-time and part-time work. It has been stated that a weekly duty of 20 hours is required to be considered a full-time employee, and you must indicate this in your reference letter.
